Superbowl Snack Pack: Just Wingin’ It
Super Bowl Sunday is here - the biggest game day of the year! Nothing better than to sit in front of your TV, enjoy the game, the halftime show, the new commercials; all while eating some delicious appetizers. Finger foods for the Super Bowl is an absolute staple and what better than chicken wings to make that perfect center piece. We’ve prepared a meal kit that includes everything you need to make some amazing homemade wings.
Follow these instructions and enjoy your wings just in time for the big game:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet pan with foil and place a non stick oven safe rack on top of the pan.
Place the wings skin side up on the rack (ok if snug, they shrink).
Bake for 40 minutes or until wings are light golden brown and crispy and cooked through.
Put the wings in a bowl, and pour Nando’s Peri Peri sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Chop up some celery sticks, and serve with Grimmway Farms baby cut carrots and Briannas classic buttermilk ranch dressing.
Be sure to cook wings thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Health Canada recommends cooking poultry to a minimum internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius.
