This BBQ Chicken Flatbread is a flavourful dish smothered with bbq sauce and loaded with chicken, smoked gouda cheese, jalapenos, hot house tomatoes, and fresh cilantro. It's perfect for lunch or dinner for any day of the week.
Yields 2 portions
½ pc 225g chicken breast boneless
½ pc 85g smoked gouda cheese, grated
½ pc 30g jalapeno, seeds removed, fine dice
½ pc tomato, seeds removed, fine dice
¼ cup cilantro, fresh, chopped
4 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 pc Naan
Marinate Chicken breast with cajun spice and oil (or your favourite spices)
Grill Chicken on BBQ or cook in oven until internal temperature reaches 165*F
Let chicken cool, dice into small bite size pieces, set aside
Assemble each flatbread with 2tbsp of BBQ sauce, chicken, cheese, tomato & jalapeno
Cook in a 375*F preheated oven until cheese melts, approx. 10 min.
Garnish with fresh cilantro, cut each flatbread into 4 pieces
